Yamaha Motor Pakistan is on a roll, roll of colors and stickers. The company earlier launched new colors for two of its bikes, metallic gray for Yamaha YB 125Z-DX followed by Orange Matt color for YBR 125G. We have shared and discussed these colors in our blogs, and you can read them here and here. Now, the bike assembler has come up with a new update for the YBR, claiming it to be a “revolution,” although we can’t understand which revolution it is.

New Rim Stickers for YBR 125G

Through a social media post, Yamaha has asked its consumers to “transform your ride into a work of art with the exclusive rim stickers.” However, the post specifically mentioned that these are limited to only early customers, meaning Pehlay Aiye, Pehlay Paiye”.

“So, don’t delay; get yours right away and stand out as you ride on,” the bike company urged. Meanwhile, the poster read, “Revolutionize your ride with exclusive rim stickers.”

Again, we remain unable to understand how these stickers will revolutionize the bike ride. It is pertinent to mention that these rim stickers are introduced the first time in Pakistan. Per some bike experts, these stickers can be reflective and visible at night. Although it’s a good aesthetic update, it is nowhere near a revolution because revolutions in the automotive industry are offering a new engine, more powerful ride, enhanced comfort, and, above all, some new safety options.

But apparently, for Pakistani companies, it is all about changing stickers on yearly bases or introducing new colors for their bikes. And the journey ends there. And with these mere updates, the prices have reached way out of reach of the common person. The last price hike by Yamaha was on May 3, taking the rates up to Rs. 410,000.
