Keeping our series of car comparison, we are going to compare the three variants of recently-unveiled KIA Sorento. The company has offered the car in 2.4L Front Wheel Drive (FWD), 2.4L All Wheel Drive (AWD) and 3.5L Front Wheel Drive (FWD) variants.
So, here is the comparison of these three variants.
Engine and Transmission:
The 2.4L FWD and 2.4L AWD come with 2400cc Theta II DOHC engine, producing 170hp and 225Nm torque. Meanwhile, the 3.5L FWD has 3500cc Lambda II V6 engine, which generates 276hp and 226Nm. Meanwhile, 2400cc variants have 6-Speed Auto Sportmatic, while 3500cc has 8-Speed Auto Sportmatic Transmission.
Wheel Size and Drive Modes:
Meanwhile, all three have 18-inch alloy wheels, along with three Drive Modes, i.e., Comfort, Economic and Sport.
Front, Rear and Fog Lights:
All three variants come with LED Head, Rear and Fog Lights. Meanwhile, all three have LED DRLs.
Safety:
The 2.4L FWD variant comes with 2 airbags, while the other two have 6 airbags each, in them. Furthermore, all three have E-Parking Brakes. This means, the base variant is less safer as compared to the other two.
Interior Features:
In 2.4L FWD variant, only Driver Seat is Powered, while the company is offering Driver+Passenger Powered Seats in other two variants. Furthermore, the all three have Auto Climate Control, and Rear AC Control.
Meanwhile, the base variant doesn’t have Power Tailgate and Wireless Charger, while these features have been offered in the other two variants.
Sunroof:
The company is offering Panoramic Sunroof in all three variants of KIA Sorento, meaning the interior of vehicle gives a great view during the drive.
Seating Capacity:
All three variants, i.e., 2.4L FWD, 2.4L AWD and 3.5L FWD has the seating capacity of 7 persons. It means the car is a great choice for family trips, friends’ hangout with comfortable sitting and lavish interior space.
Price:
Now the most important comparison, the 2.4L FWD has been offered in Rs6,999,000, while the price of 2.4L AWD is 7,999,000 and 3.5L FWD will cost in Rs8,399,000.
