In a very anticipated move, Toyota’s adventurously styled new vehicle aimed at the crossover SUV market has been unveiled at the Paris Motor Show 2016. The vehicle still bears resemblances to the sleek coupe looks of the C-HR revealed last year. However, this is the production version and Toyota has added two hidden rear doors for additional mobility and added practicality.
More importantly, this car is expected to go on sale in early 2017, in the UK. The vehicle is expected to come with an option between two engines, a 1.2L turbocharged petrol and Toyota’s 1.8L hybrid system from the Prius.
The C-HR stands for the Coupe-High Rider and is aimed to deliver high seating positions, ease of access, low running costs, increased economy and low emissions, which will help in the appeal of this vehicle for the consumers.
This new vehicle represents Toyota‘s departure from its ‘Keen Look’ model line-up, which manages to give this vehicle a unique look. However, the most obvious feature of this car is the hidden rear door handles, which not only manages in helping this vehicle to retain coupe-like looks but also gives the practicality. And the slightly elevated ride height is obviously a feature, which is becoming more popular in the crossover SUV’s.
As mentioned above, this vehicle is expected to arrive with an option between two engines, a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine or the 1.8L Hybrid System for the Prius. While the prices are yet to announced, this vehicle will be available for the consumers to order in the late-last quarter of 2016, and the deliveries will start in 2017

meh. We can only dream for dinosaurs at Toyota Indus to even consider this for local manufacturing. Its a good platform. Should sell like hot-cakes for local terrain, if priced properly. Value for money is everything.
