0% Markup Installment Plan for Yamaha Bikes
Where the whopping jump in Yamaha bikes’ prices have ceased the purchasing power of the customer, the company came up with an offer – announced 0% markup installment plan for its two-wheelers.
As per the details, the company has unveiled the plan in partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank. The ad mentions that the plan is available in specific cities in Pakistan, although it does not provide any specific names.
Moreover, the offer is just confined to the salaried class. Meaning, businessmen and freelancer can’t enjoy this offer. The ad also revealed that offer is available for limited time. It is important to note that the offer may have certain terms and conditions that were not disclosed in the advertisement, such as the installment period, down payment, and other related information.
Mind you, the offer came soon after Yamaha announced a huge increase in the prices of its bike. Yamaha YB125Z (Red/Black) price has seen a jump of Rs. 34,000, and now it will cost Rs. 342,500 compared to the old rate of Rs. 308,500. The new price of the company’s second bike, Yamaha YB125Z-DX (Red/Blue/Black), is Rs. 366,500 compared to Rs. 330,000. Meaning the price has been increased by Rs. 36,000.
What 0% markup plan means?
It’s worth noting that installment plans are a common marketing strategy used by many companies to increase sales and make their products more accessible to a wider range of customers. A 0% markup plan means that the customer would only have to pay back the principal amount, without any additional interest charges. This can be an attractive option for customers who might not have the cash on hand to pay for the entire purchase upfront but still want to own the product.
