Usman wanted to show us a vehicle that was “petrol-free” and could save us loads of fuel money. We expected to see some unique invention but ended up meeting Usman’s bicycle.
The bicycle is a standard Sohrab bicycle that was bought by Usman a year ago. Usman loves his cycle because he can easily get around town on it without any effort.
Features
According to Usman, the bicycle allows him to have an early morning workout if he has to do some outside chores in the morning. Due to its large tires, it is easy to ride and does not require much physical effort. The brakes of the bicycle are only present in the front and are in good condition. Usman did not feel the need for rear brakes but recommended it for extra safety.
Maintenance
The maintenance cost of the bicycle is next to zero. Air needs to be filled in its tires after every 2-3 weeks and do not get punctured easily. In fact, since Usman bought this bike, the tires have not punctured more than twice. Also, its breaks, chain, and pedals are durable so they don’t need fixing on a regular basis.

The Sohrab bicycle usually travels 10-15 km daily.
Price
Usman had bought his bicycle in 2021 and it cost him Rs. 10,000 at that time. He thinks that the price must have risen during the past year.

Usman believes that the Sohrab cycle is an investment in today’s time. He recalled the time when he bought a cheaper bicycle but it cost him thousands in maintenance. Each part of that bike kept malfunctioning over time. This is why he loves the low-maintenance Sohrab!
