Hyundai Nishat has increased the car prices for all variants of Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra. This is the fourth time these prices have been increased in 2022 alone. These new prices will be effective from July 25th, 2022.
Hyundai Nishat has issued an official notice declaring an increase in its car prices. Like other companies, Hyundai has cited the devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar as the reason behind this price hike.
Hyundai Nishat had already increased the price of Tucson a couple of days ago, and now they are going ahead with a price hike for other models.
New Hyundai Elantra Prices
After an increase of Rs. 757,010, the Elantra 1.6 now costs Rs. 5,099,000. Previously, its cost was Rs. 4,341,990.
Moreover, the Hyundai Elantra 2.0 now costs Rs. 5,499,000 after an increase of Rs. 500,510. Its previous cost was Rs. 4,998,490.
New Hyundai Sonata Prices
The price of Sonata 2.0 has increased by a margin of Rs. 830,010 and now costs Rs. 7,899,000. Its old price was Rs. 7,068,990.
In addition to that, Hyundai Sonata 2.5 now costs Rs. 8,499,000 instead of Rs. 7,927,490. The difference is of Rs. 571,510.
All of these prices are inclusive of Capital Value Tax (CVT).

It should be noted that this tax is applicable to all the above-mentioned cars.
Revised Freight Charges
Rupee depreciation and gain observed in dollar rates have urged the company to revise the freight charges.
