Here’s an update for those interested in electric scooters: Evee Electric is preparing to introduce a new variant in its GEN-Z lineup. This model, named the ‘Pro’ version, includes a notable change in battery technology.
The GEN-Z Pro will feature a ‘Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery’.
Currently, many electric scooters available in Pakistan have utilized batteries often labeled as “graphene.” However, commercially viable graphene batteries are not widely available globally. What has been marketed as such often functions similarly to lead-acid batteries.
A characteristic of these “graphene” labeled batteries has been extended charging times, frequently ranging from 6 to 7 hours. With the GEN-Z Pro’s Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, this charging duration is reduced to approximately 3-4 hours.

Beyond the “graphene” claims, you’ll find actual Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, as well as NCM (Nickel Cobalt Manganese) batteries (like those offered by Horwin in some models) and even Lithium Ion batteries (seen in Okla’s scooters).
