With the launch of the Jaecoo J7, another electric SUV — the Omoda E5 — has also entered the Pakistani market, further expanding the growing electric SUV segment. Earlier this year, Chery announced a partnership with NextGen Auto, a subsidiary of the Nishat Group, which is already the authorized assembler and manufacturer of Hyundai vehicles in Pakistan.
