We’ve been buzzing with excitement ever since the Chery-Nishat partnership launched the all-electric Omoda E5 SUV here in Pakistan. While our last post covered everything from the specs to the price tag, there’s nothing quite like seeing this vehicle for yourself.

Omoda E5 – Exterior
The vehicle boasts a comprehensive suite of exterior lighting and visibility features designed for both style and safety. These include LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), automatic headlights with a “Follow Me Home” function, and a full LED lighting setup—comprising headlights, tail lights, rear fog lights, and a high-mounted stop light. Additional visibility enhancements include LED front fog lights with a cornering function, sequential rear turn signals, and puddle lamps. Complementing its bold appearance are 18-inch alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna.
On the functional side, the vehicle is equipped with roof rails, a roof spoiler, and a bootlid spoiler, enhancing aerodynamics and utility. Rain-sensing front wipers, a rear wiper, and a windshield demister ensure clear visibility during adverse weather. The power-adjustable, folding, and heated outside mirrors—paired with a tailgate and a sunroof featuring a retractable sunshade with slide and tilt functions—add to the vehicle’s convenience and premium feel.
Interior
The cabin blends advanced technology with premium comfort. It features a dual 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and multimedia touchscreen, 5 seats with a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and 4-way front passenger seat, as well as ventilated front seats and a 60:40 split-folding rear bench.
Practical amenities include a cargo cover, illuminated vanity mirrors, LED interior and boot lighting, rear center armrest, map pockets, and multiple cup and bottle holders. Rear passengers also benefit from dedicated air vents for added comfort.
Entertainment and connectivity are top-tier, with an 8-speaker Sony audio system, AM/FM tuner, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and intelligent voice control via “Hello Omoda.” Convenience features include 50W wireless device charging, dual-zone automatic air conditioning with a 5-layer filtration system, and multicolor ambient lighting across the dashboard and doors.
The cabin is finished with soft-touch materials, white stitching accents, synthetic leather on the doors and steering wheel, and a multifunction steering wheel with tilt/telescopic adjustment and integrated controls.
