Capital Smart Motors (CSM), the same group that brought Riddara, Geely, and Forthing to Pakistan, has now introduced another electric brand—JMEV. The company’s first model to debut is the JMEV Elight sedan, an electric car designed with a focus on performance, technology, and comfort.

Variants and Pricing
The Elight is being offered in two trims:

Premium – PKR 9,999,999
Both versions have a 90-day delivery time, with bookings available at 10% of the car’s total price. The Premium serves as the higher-spec variant with additional features.
Covering Every EV Segment
It appears that Capital Smart Motors aims to offer an option in every major segment. For crossovers, the company provides the Forthing Friday; in pickups, it has the Riddara RD6; and now, with the Elight sedan, it has expanded into the sedan segment. This approach ensures that Pakistani buyers have an EV option regardless of category.
Performance and Features
According to the official brochure, the Elight offers a 500 km NEDC range, powered by a 56.3 kWh battery and a 221 HP motor. It supports three driving modes—Eco, Normal, and Sport—and features advanced driver assistance, including multiple airbags and blind-spot detection.
Inside, the sedan comes equipped with a 14.6-inch multimedia touchscreen, 360° camera system, and premium interiors. Charging is convenient with a 7kW home charger (0–100% in 10 hours) and DC fast charging (30–80% in 30 minutes).
