High-Speed Diesel (HSD): The price will increase by Rs. 4.04, bringing the new rate to Rs. 276.81 per litre, up from Rs. 272.77 per litre.
-
Petrol: The price for petrol will also rise by Rs. 4.07, with the new price set at Rs. 268.68 per litre, up from Rs. 264.61.
The Reason Behind the Price Hike
The price hike is in line with global oil market fluctuations, as well as the adjustments in Pakistan’s domestic economic factors. It is important to note that petroleum products are vital to Pakistan’s energy sector, as they significantly impact transport and manufacturing industries.
