We have already shared the important details about the car, including the expected price and features. Now, the official sources of Honda Atlas have shared the confirmed date of the launch of the new crossover SUV.
Launch Date
One of the officials from the company has told us that the Honda HR-V will be launched this weekend. It means only two days are left; exciting, isn’t it? After just two days, we will get the first locally assembled crossover SUV from Honda.
Expected Specs & Features
The updates by the company and our sources have shared expected specs and features of the car:
- 4 airbags
- Dual tone side view mirrors + roof
- Body coloured & black front grille
- Automatic climate control
- Traction control
- Hill start assist
- Stability control
However, the sources have said that the car would not have cruise control, heated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Variants of Honda HR-V
Honda will launch HR-V in two variants, i.e., VTi and VTi S. The first variant will have 1.5-liter 4-cylinder naturally aspirated (NA) petrol, producing 119hp and 145Nm of torque. The second variant will come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine with 179hp and 240 Nm of torque.
Furthermore, the third variant, the hybrid one, will be launched as a CBU after a few months.
Expected Price of Honda HR-V
The sources have already told us that the expected price of the Honda HR-V VTi would range between Rs. 63 to Rs. 65 lacs. Meanwhile, the top variant’s price would be around Rs. 67 lacs. If these are the actual prices, then Honda HR-V will give tough competition to already existing crossover SUVs.
The sources have also shared that the delivery of this vehicle will be started in November 2022, as the bookings will start right after the launch.
