Crackdown On Non-Registered Cars in Lahore
In a bid to urge the owners of non-registered vehicles to register their cars and improve the token tax collection mechanism, the Excise & Taxation Department of Punjab has launched a crackdown. Therefore, unregistered cars are a danger on roads. Special police squads are constituted to check unregistered cars and other vehicles plying on roads.
Media reports have revealed that non-registered and tax default vehicles in all the districts of Punjab will be ceased from today. Newly appointed Director General Excise, Chaudhary Asif, has directed to arrange special pickets to check unregistered and default vehicles.
Under this crackdown, 400 challans have been issued to owners of default vehicles, and 2.3 lacs tax has been collected so far. Moreover, more than 100 teams are inspecting default vehicles at 76 different checking points.

- Download the ePay Punjab App from the app store on your mobile phone.
- Tap on Punjab Police tab
- Then tap on E-Challan Safe City tab
- Enter your car/bike registration number
- Now press the Pay tab, it will generate a PSID number
- Copy that PSID number
- Log in to you bank app, go to payments and select GoPb option in bill payment options
- Enter PSID number and press OK
- App will show details about e-challan(s) against your car
- Enter amount and press confirm/pay
- Message of successful transaction will appear on the screen
- After few minutes, you can visit the ePay App again to check the status about your challan.
