An unmanned drone plane crashed into the Orange Line train near Ali Town station terminal, Thokar Niaz Baig on Wednesday. As per media reports, Bomb squad and police offers rushed to the spot to investigate the matter.
Reports added that the bomb squad cleared the plane with a statement that it didn’t carry any explosive material. Moreover, police found a camera installed in a remote-controlled drone. CCPO Lahore also took notice and directed SP Sadr to ascertain the incident.
The police said that the drone is seized to investigate the purpose and from where it has taken off. The bomb disposal and related authorities have started investigating the incident from various aspects.
