Exclusive Leaks: JAC T9 2WD Variant Sneak-Peak at Ghandhara’s Plant
A few days ago, we reported that Ghandhara is planning to launch a toned-down trim of the JAC T9 Hunter. Now, through our insiders, we’ve obtained exclusive images of this variant being assembled at Ghandhara’s plant.
Under 90 Lacs Budget
According to our sources, the new 2WD (rear-wheel drivetrain) trim will be priced under Rs. 90 lakhs. This makes it one of the most competitively priced double-cabin pickups in the market, aiming squarely at buyers who want good hi-tech features and a posh interior but do not need a 4×4 drivetrain.
Exclusive Images from Ghandhara Factory
PakWheels has obtained exclusive images from Ghandhara Automobile’s factory, where the new JAC T9 2WD is being assembled locally. These photos confirm that preparations are in full swing for the new pickup.
The JAC T9 2WD is expected to launch on October 1st.
Here are the exclusive images:
Only Powertrain Difference
The only difference between the upcoming 2WD and the top-spec T9 Hunter is in the powertrain. The Hunter continues with its four-wheel-drive setup, while the new variant will feature a rear-wheel-drive (4×2) system.
Importantly, no features are stripped down, all specifications, equipment, and comfort features remain the same as the top-spec Hunter. The only difference is in the front grille and alloy design, which appear slightly different from the Hunter.
