The Pakistani car industry has been facing several challenges in 2023, and automakers are doing their best to keep their products and services up-to-date and appealing to customers. One such example is Honda Atlas Cars Limited (HACL), which has introduced a new in-car internet package for its customers in Pakistan.

The “In-car Wi-Fi Subscription Service” by Honda Atlas offers a 4G internet package with a choice of monthly or yearly subscription plans. For a monthly fee of Rs. 833, customers can access 10 GB of data, while a yearly subscription of Rs. 9,999 comes with a generous 120 GB of data. This service is expected to be a hit with Honda customers who want to stay connected while on the move.

These include disruptions in the supply chain, inventory shortages due to restrictions on LCs, and the ongoing economic crisis in Pakistan.

Originally, Honda’s production shutdown was scheduled from March 9 to March 31, but this was later extended to April 1 to 15. The latest notification has announced a further extension of the production shutdown from May 1 to 15, bringing the total shutdown period to two months. The ongoing operational issues are likely to have a negative impact on Honda’s production and sales, which have already taken a significant hit this year.

Despite these challenges, Honda Atlas is committed to providing its customers with quality products and services. The company remains optimistic about the future of the car industry in Pakistan and is working hard to overcome the current difficulties. With its new in-car internet package, Honda Atlas is showing that it is willing to innovate and adapt to meet the changing needs of its customers.

They could have given this service free of charge for at least the first year. They are asking two kidneys and leg for their low value cars.
