Get Ready for New SUVs In Pakistan: Jetour T1 & T2!

Jetour’s launch is fresh, but we’ve already got another news to share! And, surprisingly the update came from the same new entrant Jetour. The company has decided to let off-road lovers experience the Jetour T1 and T2.

There is no mistake in claiming that the T2 is a perfect attempt to answer the Land Cruiser Prado in Pakistan. The front fascia of the SUV competes with likes of 2025 Land Cruises, whilst rear profile reminds you Land Rover Defender.

Imagining the T1 and T2 dominating local roads, Jetour Pakistan has revealed its plan to introduce these SUVs in the country this year. Below are the necessary details translating what these off-road SUVs brag in terms of design aesthetics outside and inside the cabin and under the hood as well.

Jetour T1 (Jetour Freedom) – Specs

Jetour, a subsidiary of Chery, recently launched ‘Jetour Freedom’ in Saudi market using a different name T1, and hopefully, the carmaker is likely to follow the same pattern in Pakistan.

Jetour, a subsidiary of Chery, offers two main product lines: Jetour and Jetour Shanhai. Within the Jetour Shanhai lineup, there are two distinct series—’ Jetour Shanhai T’ and ‘Jetour Shanhai L’. The Jetour Freedom serves as the gasoline-powered counterpart to the Jetour Shanhai T1.

The Jetour T1 measures 4,706 mm in length, 1,967 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.

The Jetour T1 offers two powertrain options. The 1.5T + 7DCT configuration delivers 125 kW of power and 270 Nm of torque, achieving over 40% thermal efficiency for an optimal balance of power and fuel economy—ideal for city driving.

Meanwhile, the 2.0T + 8AT powertrain generates 180 kW of power and 375 Nm of torque, featuring a 20% faster combustion speed and 30% improved transient response for a more dynamic and responsive driving experience.

Jetour T2 – Features & Specs

Another off-road SUV to be launched in Pakistan this year is Jetour T2. Below are the specifications of the vehicle.

Engine & Power

The Jetour T2 is powered by a 1.5TD engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). The SUV boasts a maximum speed of 180 km/h and is available in striking exterior colors like Lime Green, Night Black, Sun Orange, and Silver Snow, the Jetour T2 also features stylish interior options, including Black/Red and Green/Orange, enhancing both comfort and aesthetics.

Exterior

The Jetour T2 measures 4,785 mm in length with the spare tire cover and 4,612 mm without it. It has a width of 2,006 mm and a height of 1,880 mm whereas, the wheelbase spans 2,800 mm. Additionally, the front and rear wheelbases measure 1,685 mm and 1,695 mm, respectively.

    Entire design philosophy for the second vehicle is based on Toyota Land Cruiser J250. Pathertic really pathetic. No creativity at all.
