The Chinese mid-size SUV Haval H6 went through the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) and scored a perfect five. The Great Wall Motor (GWM) vehicle performed exceptionally well across all areas of assessment and won a spot among the safest SUVs.

All four H6 petrol variants got a five-star rating, including the one we have here in Pakistan. The upcoming hybrid electric variant H6 PHEV has not been rated.

If you recall, Haval Pakistan is selling imported CBU (Completely Built-Up) units of H6. The five-star rating of imported Haval H6 is a great sign for buyers in Pakistan. The ANCAP safety test proved that H6 is one of the safest cars for adults and children passengers and pedestrians.

With the locally assembled Haval SUVs coming soon, we’ll see if the CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) units meet the safety standards of the CBUs.
