In an exciting move for consumers, Honda Atlas has recently announced a limited-time discount on its HR-V Petrol variants, specifically the HR-V VTi and HR-V VTi S, along with the launch of HEV Hybrid trim, which they call e:HEV. Effective from 14 July onward, these variants are being offered at reduced prices, marking a welcome surprise in the current market scenario.

The HR-V VTi variant’s price has decreased from Rs. 7,649,000 to Rs. 7,549,000.

The HR-V VTi-S variant’s price has decreased from Rs. 7,899,000 to Rs. 7,799,000.

Both variants have received a price reduction of Rs. 100,000.

HR-V Hybrid Price
Not only this, but Honda has officially introduced the official price of HEV e:HEV, this variant will carry an ex-factory price tag of Rs. 8,999,000. The hybrid version will be Honda’s first locally assembled hybrid car, offering competition to the base Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid and Haval Jolion Hybrid.
Furthermore, Honda officially commenced test drives for the HR-V hybrid on July 14, giving potential customers an opportunity to experience the vehicle firsthand.
Other Brands Offering Relief from NEV Levy
Notably, Honda isn’t the only automaker to offer a price reduction amid the recent implementation of the NEV levy. Recently, Haval announced it would fully absorb the additional NEV levy on all of its locally assembled variants. Similarly, MG also absorbed the NEV levy specifically on its locally assembled HS Trophy variant. Honda’s recent price reduction thus aligns with these brands’ strategies, offering financial incentives in a challenging economic environment. Although Honda’s price decrease is temporary, it serves as a gesture towards consumers, especially at a time when inflationary pressures and rising taxes have become major concerns for car buyers.
