Honda City & Civic Recorded Striking 136% Sales Growth

After months of witnessing a nose dive in sales figures, the latest report from Honda Atlas brings a breath of fresh air as the company reveals a remarkable uptick in sales, sending shockwaves through the automotive landscape.
Civic & City Sales
The spotlight is firmly on the dynamic duo – Honda City and Civic – as their combined sales experienced a staggering 136% surge. The numbers tell an encouraging story: 1,160 units of City and Civic found their way into the hands of eager customers. It seems that the market has not only embraced but also celebrated these iconic models, propelling them to new heights of popularity.
Meanwhile, Honda Atlas sold 1,160 units of City and Civic and 182 units of BR-V and HR-V.
Car Sales Increased by 10% Last Month
Following the government’s easing of import restrictions, there was a marginal increase in car sales last month. However, amidst the declining economy, the challenge persists, and the culprit is the melting economic graphs.
As per the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, car sales are increased in Sept’23 by 10% selling 8,312 vehicles against 7,579 units in August. Coming to year-to-year (YoY) sales, car sales observed a slump of 26%. Meaning, car makers sold 11,288 cars in corresponding time of last year.
Two Wheelers
Likewise, two-wheelers sales also surged by 22% last month, selling 105,479 units last month against 86,504 bikes in Aug’23. Japanese motorcycle maker, Honda sold 95,056 bikes last month compared to 75,071 units in August. Meanwhile, Pak Suzuki’s sales decreased by 36%, selling 1,096 units last month compared to 1,722 in August.

Yes, I agree, it is indeed refreshing for Honda, their sedan segments have been outshined by Toyota sedans for a long time now and their sedans winning back the segment from Toyota again is showing good strategic management.
