In a surprising move, Honda Atlas has unveiled a new variant named ‘Aspire S’ of the 6th Generation Honda City, along with a facelift of the existing 1.2L CVT (Special Edition) and 1.5L Aspire models. This launch comes nearly four years after the initial introduction of the 6th Generation City in Pakistan, which was initially introduced in 2021.

The announcement has caught the attention of automotive enthusiasts, many of whom had been anticipating the 7th-generation Honda City—a model that has been available in global markets since 2021.

The decision to continue with the 6th Generation, albeit with updates, has reignited debates among fans and critics alike who were hoping for a more substantial generational leap.

Despite the criticism, Honda Atlas has opted to refresh the lineup instead of upgrading to the newer generation. Among these updates, the spotlight is on the all-new Aspire S variant, which features several cosmetic and functional enhancements designed to enhance both the exterior appeal and interior comfort.

However, the facelift episode will be discussed in another piece.
