Like its other Japanese peers, Honda has long been accused of not having any electric vehicles in its line-up. For long, the car maker focused on hybrid and hydrogen fuel cells rather than electric vehicles.

And, after teasing its first electric vehicle (SUV) for years, finally, the company got its first battery-electric SUV, dubbed “prologue”, co-developed with General Motors.

Honda has released a batch of its images as the SUV will hit the market soon, sometime in 2024, with its sales beginning first in North America. Earlier, we have also observed its animated iteration, but the real photos come with extra detailing in terms of design and styling.

Dimensions

Talking about the size, the new SUV sits above the little CR-V. Honda Prologue is 1988.82mm wide, 4876.8mm Long, and 1643.38mm tall, with a wheelbase and a wheel diameter of 3093.72mm and 533.4mm, respectively. Meaning, the car is a midsize SUV.

Exterior & Interior

Concerning its exterior and interior design, the SUV is not over-styled but subtle. With an attractive front fascia and panoramic top, the company translated the car design as neo-rugged – the portfolio brings harmony among the aspect exhibiting the styling.

Coming inside the cabin, the interior colors took a cue from mountain snow. The car looks like the company’s other modern SUVs – a completely balanced, tidy, and easy-to-understand layout. The car is equipped with an 11-inch digital instrument display and an 11.3-inch central touchscreen.
