Honda Atlas continues the teasers of upcoming Honda HR-V. The company has shared the social media posts about different features of the crossover SUV. First, it was the front grille, then headlights, followed by a post of rear headlights. Now Honda has shared a post about one of the major safety features in the car.
In a latest post, Honda has shared the picture of airbags, 4 of them to be precise. The photo is shared with the tagline “HR-V, Excite Your Life!” which sounds rather odd with a photo of airbags.

It is a good news that Honda is offering four airbags in its new car because, even in Honda Civic, there are only two airbags. Hence, a good step by the company and it will surely enhance the feel of safety among the owners. This is also important as locally assembled cars have long been criticized for lack of airbags in them, although the trend has been changing in last couple of years, Honda was lagging behind. So, it is good that the company is catching up with the trend.
Something About Honda HR-V
Honda’s latest HR-V is also known as Vezel in Japan. Moreover, Vezel is a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (e-HEV) CBU car, whilst our new HR-V would most probably be a fuel-powered vehicle as there are slim chances that we would get a locally assembled hybrid crossover by Honda. But you never know, so let us wait and watch.
In June, we told you that a wrapped test unit of the SUV had been spotted in Pakistan. Further investigation revealed that Honda Atlas imported the test unit with a price tag of Rs. 6.05 million. These updates are rather exciting, so it would be correct to say that Honda HR-V is currently the most awaited car in Pakistan.
Launch
As per our sources launch of this crossover SUV is around the corner. “The company has completed its preparations for the launch,” the sources added.
Earlier it was expected that we will get the new car in September but it seems that the information was not true. And we may have to wait for extra couple of weeks. Although, there is nothing official from the company yet.
