Yesterday, a new circulated on social media that Hyundai Nishat Motors has decreased the price of its 7-Seater vehicle Santa Fe by Rs50 lacs. The news made rounds after a “notification,” mentioned that new price of Santa Fe, is Rs1,35,00,000. The original price of the car is Rs1,85,00,000. However, after a fact-check, we have found that the news is not true.
What is The Truth?
Our research has revealed that Hyundai imported around a dozen units in 2019 to test the local market. As per our sources, the car was handed over to company employees, and some officials for personal use. We believe that one of those units was sold to a dealer, and that dealer is selling it in Rs1,35,00,000. It means that this unit is second-hand as company has not imported it after 2019. Hence, the dealer is selling that specific Santa Fe at that price.
In conclusion, the company is not selling this car officially, at Rs1,35,00,000 while its original price is still Rs1,85,00,000. So, we want to correct the news that, Hyundai has reduced the price of this car by Rs50 lacs. Any inconvenience in this matter is regretted.
