Amid political rally and long march, Islamabad police have issued a traffic alert. In two tweets, the police told the masses that diversions have been placed at Faizabad traffic moving from Islamabad to Rawalpindi via Murree Road. “Alternatively, old airport road and stadium can be used to enter Rawalpindi from Islamabad.”

In the second tweet, the police stated red zone entry/exit is closed from Express Chowk and NADRA Chowk. “Alternatively, Margallah Road, Ayub Chowk, and Serena Chowk can be used.” the police said.
All other roads in Islamabad are clear for traffic.

Meanwhile, other reports suggested that the authorities have closed Islamabad entry after 7 pm due to the long march; however, there is no confirmation from Islamabad Police. There is a political rally in Islamabad tomorrow, and that is why the police have issued this latest traffic alert for the capital.
