JAC T9 FRISON 2X Launches in Pakistan: Lower Price, Hunter-Level Features
A few days ago, we exclusively reported that Ghandhara Automobiles was set to launch a lower-trim version of the JAC T9 Hunter called the JAC T9 FRISON 2X.
Today, the company has officially launched its new pickup in Pakistan and is now accepting bookings.
A More Accessible JAC, Same Premium Feel
The T9 FRISON 2X retains nearly all the design, comfort, and performance features of the 4×4 Hunter.
The only major change? It now comes with a rear-wheel drive (4×2) setup instead of a 4×4 drivetrain, offering a more city- and highway-friendly configuration for urban users who don’t need off-road capabilities.
Despite the drivetrain change, nothing else has been stripped down; the FRISON 2X delivers the same build, interior, and feature-rich tech package as its higher-priced sibling.
Price and Booking
The price of the JAC T9 FRISON 2X is Rs. 8,775,000 (ex-factory), with a booking amount of Rs. 2.3 million (23 lacs). Bookings are now open at Ghandhara dealerships across Pakistan.
Key Differences from the Hunter
- Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive (4×2) instead of 4×4
- Front Grille: Redesigned for a more distinct, urban look
- Alloy Wheels: New 18-inch dual-spoke design
- All Other Features: Remain identical to the Hunter

The FRISON 2X clearly holds an edge with its competitive pricing and full feature retention, offering better value within the segment.
A Smart Move by Ghandhara
The T9 FRISON 2X, Ghandhara, has expanded its pickup lineup to attract urban users who don’t necessarily need a 4×4 off-roader.
The local assembly and competitive pricing could help the brand strengthen its position in Pakistan’s growing pickup market.
