Kia Offers New Safety Features in Kia Carnival

Kia Carnival, also known as Grand Carnival, is a completely Built Unit (CBU) car offered by the company in Pakistan. The car is a good ride for a big family and friends of a group who want to have a good time journey together. Kia has been presenting it as a luxury car with 11 seats and a number of good features.

In August 2022, the car assembler launched a new variant of this vehicle named “Carnival Executive.” The variant had some additional specs and features, including:

  • Autonomous Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
  • 12.3″ Digital Instrument Cluster
  • Surround-view monitor
  • 12.3″ Audio Video Navigation (AVN) Display
  • Rain sensors

New Safety Features in Kia Carnival 

Now Kia has introduced more safety features in the car. As per a social media post, the luxury vehicle will have the following new options to keep the driver and passengers safe:

  • The first one is Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCAA) which keeps a constant eye on the road ahead. If you drive too fast or the car ahead reduces speed, it will notify you immediately to avoid a collision.
  • The second feature is Lane Keep Assist (LKA), and it uses the front window camera to detect whether you are driving in your lane or not. If your car deviates from the lane, it will warn the driver.
  • Then comes Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCAA). The assist will apply the brake of the outer wheel if it detects another vehicle in the blind spot and helps the car to return to its lane under certain conditions.
  • The fourth and final is Lane Following Assist (LFA), designed to help in detecting lane markings and or/vehicles on the road and assist the steering to keep the car in its lane.
