If you love drifting and regularly follows the sport, we have a perfect event for you. PakWheels.com, as an exclusive media partner, has become part of Pakistan’s First Drift 2021, starting from tomorrow. Organized by Vroom Racing and SA Gardens, the event is going to be held on September 30th (Thursday), October 1st (Friday), and October 2nd (Saturday), 2021.
How It Will Happen?
It is pertinent to mention that the first two days will be practice days, and the third will be the exhibition day. For the first two days, people willing to learn drifting will be coached by professionals. These coaches will give a closed-circuit practice to those drivers. And on the third day, the people who the coaches will pass will be given a chance to exhibit their skills on the track.
However, the event is not open for spectators and is invite-only, but you can enjoy it through pictures and videos on social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages of PakWheels.com.
Things to be Noted
The practice day on track will be under the supervision of international drifter Talha Bin Adil (TBA) Racing. The Drift Day is going to be a friendly and educational learning experience. The organizers are holding this event to promote drift culture in Pakistan.
And lastly, Drift clinic is with the likes of TBA and Babur Zia (international drifter) and Adeel (nationally renowned drifter).
Furthermore, the drivers need to have a Driving Suite, Helmet, Gloves, Roll Cage, Fire extinguisher, and Spare Tyres. The organizers will offer Tyre Changing facility on the track.
The common perception in Pakistan is that drifting is dangerous and not recommended. However, this is an international sport and under a controlled environment; this is safe and very enthralling.
