MG Pakistan is one of the most exciting entrants in local car industry. Since its arrival, the company has registered record-high sales, found itself in a couple of scandals, and its representative, Javed Afridi, has teased about a lot of cars. Now, the company is here with another exciting update about the launch of its locally assembled models.

Talking to an English newspaper, MG Motors General Manager Syed Asif Ahmed said that the company will launch three locally assembled models in Pakistan. Isn’t it exciting, it is guys, it is.

Possible Locally Assembled Models

As per the general manager, “MG’s five-year plan consists of introducing three models.” The first one is MG HS, while the second one is MG GT, however, the official didn’t reveal the name of the third car.

Javed Afridi has hinted about MG-3 – the hatchback under Rs. 2million –  repeatedly but we don’t think the company will launch it any time soon. But again, it is their 5-year plan and MG-3 may arrive but it would be very hard to introduce the car under Rs. 2million.

So, let us all wait and watch, what will MG offer? We wish best of luck to the company and hope that it would prove to be good for the local market.

MG3 is a copycat of Suzuki Swift, the new Swift is selling like hot cakes, sales decrease because of the inflation.
And when Suzuki will launch the Wagon R Stingray under 2 million PKR obviously, this car won’t stand a chance.
It is better for MG to launch MG6 2nd Gen a sedan with the same signature light as MG HS with an affordable price to gain some customers.
