Today we’re back with another video of a w212 Mercedes E200 project. In this video, we will go through the facelifting process of this car and catch a glimpse of reaction of Muhammad Amir to his revamped Mercedes. The w212 E class was launched in 2009, after which a facelift came out in 2013. This particular car is a 2009 model, and the owner decided to freshen up its looks; let’s find out how this project turned out.
Project initiation
The owner has had this car for quite some time now, and with the emerging trend of Mercedes conversions in Pakistan, he decided to facelift his w212. This particular car is the Avantgarde variant which was initially blue in colour. Along with the facelift, the owner also wanted to change its colour to match its aggressive look.
Transformation
This project started with installing facelift parts, including the bonnet, front fenders, front and back bumpers, tail lights, and headlights. Next in line was the wrap; the car was wrapped in a gloss white colour while the bumpers were painted. After the wrap was done, the car looked great, but the wide fenders of the facelift tucked in the wheels.
Moreover, the stock 17-inch rims didn’t really do justice to the car’s new look; hence it was decided to install bigger wheels. A set of 18-inch AMG rims were bought, which were then painted black along with wider tyres making the car look truly complete. No modifications were done to the interior or the engine, with the idea of keeping it how it rolled out from the factory.
Revelation
Finally delivering the car to M. Amir, he was in awe of how this project turned out. The stock E class now looked nothing similar to its previous look. It looks like a completely different car with new LED lights, black AMG rims, and a glossy white wrap. As per the owner, he was initially skeptical about how the car looked in pictures, but seeing it in person completely put him off guard with how great it now looks.
