The launch of new Suzuki Swift is today and everyone is waiting for it. As per reports, the event will be held today in Lahore. And with that the leaks of the car started to appear online as we have received pictures of new Suzuki Swift GL (base variant) before the launch.
The maroon-colored unit of the car seemed to be parked somewhere with tapes on logos. Furthermore, you can see front and rear of the car with a glimpse of interior.
Exterior
At the front you can see the slim grille and halogen headlights. The lamps have indicators within them. Also, you can see fog lamp covers but it seems the lamps are not in them. At the rear, there are simple brake lights along with rear wiper, high mount brake lamp and GL logo. The hatchback will come with alloy wheels.
Interior
The interior is completely black, while you can see switchless steering, infotainment system, key switch, power window control, manual gear transmission and manual handbrake.

Expected Engine
As per our sources, Suzuki will launch the new model with K12C (1250cc) Dualjet inline-4 engine in Pakistan, possibly mated with 5-Speed Manual or CVT Transmission.
The international market has another Swift variant with a 1000cc turbo engine, but we may not see it here in Pakistan.
Expected Price
Suzuki may launch the new Swift somewhere between Rs. 27 and 28 lacs.
It is pertinent to mention that Suzuki discontinued the previous Swift in September 2021. The company had announced its plan to discontinue the car almost a year before as it announced the launch of a new generation of the car in Pakistan.
