The official launch of the Suzuki Swift 2022 is just a few days away, and the upcoming car has been spotted on Bahawalpur bypass. Just like the first locally assembled Swift, this unit is also not a top-of-the-line variant. Still, the sighting has got all the Swift fans excited about the launch.

What We Know So Far
Suzuki will hopefully display the car and reveal its specs and features before starting the bookings. While we wait for things to become official, let’s look at the expected specs, features, and price of the upcoming Swift 2022.
Expected Variants
We think the new Swift is coming in three variants. A base variant Swift GL (Manual), a mid variant GL (Auto), and a fully-loaded top-of-the-line variant GLX (Auto).
We are expecting halogen projection headlights, LED fog lamps, and alloy wheels in the top-of-the-line variant.
Expected Engine
As per our sources, Suzuki will launch the new model with K12C (1250cc) Dualjet inline-4 engine in Pakistan, possibly mated with 5-Speed Manual or CVT Transmission.
The international market has another Swift variant with a 1000cc turbo engine, but we may not see it here in Pakistan.
Expected Price
Suzuki may launch the new Swift somewhere between Rs. 27 and 28 lacs.
Bookings
As per our sources, Suzuki is planning to open the bookings for the new model on Thursday, the 24th of February.
Suzuki Swift has a decade-old history in Pakistan. The B-segment hatchback is one of the best-selling cars in the country. The new 4th generation model will take the local market by storm (if priced reasonably). The locally assembled 4th generation Swift will surely be a big thing, and we can’t wait to see what Suzuki has in store for us.
