New Swift with Faulty Transmission – A Complaint
The issues with Suzuki cars are not restricted to crooked fitting but also to engine and transmission. Here, we come up with the whole story to get an idea of how bad the situation is.
Details
As per the customer, he bought the newly launched Suzuki Swift GLX CVT on April 24, 2022. After a short period, a bizarre sound with vibration started emitting from CVT. He contacted the dealership. After recognizing the fault, they asked him to change the CVT oil. He has changed the oil four times, while the company also changed it twice but the error still prevails. “Although the noises have reduced and the jerk is minimal but the issue is still there,” the owner told us, adding that the company is insisting that the issue will be resolved after a while.
Earlier, the dealership had conceded that an essential part of CVT is missing from the purchase day. And above all, they couldn’t pin down that part in the face of their vulnerability towards the latest CVT functions and technology. The dealership has extended the warranty, and the head office has also pledged to change the CVT. And it has been weeks; they are just dilly delaying the matter. The customer seems that the dealership is just waiting for the warranty to expire.
“I am driving the car currently and let us see whether the issue resolve automatically, as the company claimed, or not,” the consumer told us.
This Is Not New
This is not a new or first complaint; earlier, we have seen a number of social media posts translating the customer’s grievances towards the company’s least interest in build quality.
1. Misaligned Bonnet Fitting
Alto with mussed bonnet placement angered the customer. The photos of cars have created a fuss on social media. One side of the bonnet is normal, whilst the other side exhibits immense gaps. Off-balance fitting gives it a broken look.
Earlier this year, a customer claimed that the company sold him Alto with a Painted door. In a social media post, the customer from Karachi claimed that his brother-in-law bought a brand-new Suzuki Alto from a Suzuki dealership, but they were shocked to see a painted door. The customer said that the dealership had no quality control check system.
