Changan Claims 31,000+ Customers Visited Dealerships for Oshan X7

Changan’s first crossover is off to a great start in the Pakistani market. Launched just a few weeks ago, Changan Oshan X7 has received an overwhelming response. Changan claims that the dealerships are flooded with thousands of interested buyers visiting to experience the new car.

The company shared a few glimpses of walk-in customers at the dealerships, thanking them for their love and support.

Earlier this month, Changan dropped the mic with its first crossover SUV. Pakistan is one of the first two countries to get the latest model of Oshan X7. That means, for the first time, a new car has come to Pakistan at the same time as its international debut. 

One of the many great things about the Oshan X7 is it’s Pakistan’s first Euro-6 crossover. Changan’s new car is literally killing two birds with one stone. Launched in two variants, the 7-seater Oshan X7 Comfort and the 5-seater Oshan X7 FutureSense, the new crossover will compete in two different segments. 

Both variants have a 1.5-litre turbocharged Blue Core engine that produces 185 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. This engine is more powerful than the other 1.5 turbo engines in the MG HS and Proton X70, and even bigger petrol engines in 2.4L KIA Sorento and 2.7L Toyota Fortuner.

There’s no doubt that Changan Oshan X7 is an excellent addition to the crossover segment. Unlike Changan’s first domestic car, Changan Alsvin, this one’s getting the recognition it deserves. Alsvin had a bumpy start, but the sedan has become one of the most popular cars in the market in just a year. Looks like Changan’s new crossover will be a bigger hit than the sedan.
