An excellent news for the MG HS buyers, as MG Pakistan has imported 1,100 new units of compact crossover SUV. The vehicles are currently at Karachi port. Talking to PakWheels.com, the MG Pakistan official said that the clearance will take 7 to 10 days and then the delivery will be started across the cities in Pakistan.

Now, the question arises will MG deliver these vehicles at the old price or the new one. Answering this query, the official told us that “The new price is applicable only on new bookings for the new variant, HS Exclusive, started from 27th May.” So, rejoice, O’ MG fans, as you guys are going to get your car very soon.
As per reports, MG Exclusive will have a completely digital speedometer and one extra color, silver.
MG HS Price Hike:
It is pertinent to mention that the company increased the prices of MG HS last week. As per a notification, the new price of CBU units of HS is PKR 5,749,000. The old price was PKR 5,449,000, meaning an increase of PKR 3 lacs. Meanwhile, the booking price is PKR 20 lacs. As per the company, the prices are only applicable for HS Exclusive.
Local Assembly Starts:
Last week, the head of JW SEZ Group, local partner of MG, Javed Afridi announced a huge development of MG cars. In a tweet, Afridi declared: “”Alhamdulillah, first locally made MG car is on the wheels.” He shared two pictures of this locally assembled vehicle.
This surely is a huge step forward for the company, as it was only selling CBU units of HS. And this has been causing delays in the delivery of these vehicles due to pandemic restrictions, globally. The manufacturing of CKD means that the company will now start delivering these units, resulting in smooth delivery to its buyers.
