In the face of soaring petrol prices in Pakistan, a promising startup is rolling out a plan based on e-bikes that could save you big bucks while being eco-friendly. Here’s the scoop:

Zyp Technologies E-bikes

Zyp Technologies, a forward-thinking startup, is making waves in Pakistan’s transportation scene. They’ve secured an impressive $1.2 million in seed funding from Indus Valley money, an early-stage venture capital fund dedicated to supporting Pakistani entrepreneurs.

8,000 E-bikes a Year

Zyp Technologies isn’t stopping at just an idea. They’ve set up a high-capacity assembly line with the capability to churn out a whopping 8,000 electric motorcycles annually. This move aims to meet the demands of both businesses and everyday riders.

The best part? These e-motorcycles won’t break the bank. Prices will start at a wallet-friendly Rs. 150,000, making them an accessible option for many. Depending on the model, you might pay up to Rs. 450,000, but the savings in the long run could be game-changing.

Zyp Technologies has big plans on the charging front too. They’re gearing up to build an impressive network of 4,000 charging stations across Pakistan. Convenience and accessibility will be at the heart of their eco-conscious strategy.

Up to 70% Savings

With climate change concerns and Pakistan’s ever-increasing fuel prices, these electric motorcycles come as a breath of fresh air. Motorcycle fleet operators could potentially cut their gasoline expenses by a whopping 70%. That’s a game-changer for their bottom line and the environment.

Recent fuel and diesel price hikes have hit hard, pushing rates beyond the Rs. 300 mark. The Finance Division cites global petroleum price trends and exchange rate fluctuations as the culprits.

Petrol now stands at Rs. 305.36 per liter, while high-speed diesel (HSD) clocks in at Rs. 311.84 per liter. With this backdrop, Zyp Technologies’ electric motorcycles couldn’t have come at a better time.
