Peshawar BRT Zu Card Price Increased

Following the back-to-back hikes in fuel prices and burgeoning inflation, ZuPeshawar Bus Rapid Transit has increased the price of Zu Cards. As per media reports, Trans Peshawar has inched up Zu Card’s price by Rs. 50, taking it up from Rs. 250 to Rs. 300.

The then Khyber Pakhtunkhwa initialize the BRT project in the city with an aim to provide affordable transport to the inflation-stricken middle class, but it seems that it is becoming hard for daily commuters to use this facility.

The cardholders don’t need to stand in long queues for a ticket. Daily commuters can enjoy a hassle-free journey after adding a certain amount of balance to the card. If you want to avail Zu Card, follow the procedure given below.

Step 1: Go to the menu and select the language

Step 2: you will see various options appearing on the screen, like recharging the card or buying a new card. Select buying option if you don’t have a card or want to use this card service. Secondly, insert your card to recharge it and proceed further.

Step 3: To recharge your card, choose between a debit card, credit card, Easypaisa, cash, or JazzCash.

Step 4: Once you have selected the medium for payment, you need to select the amount. You can add up to Rs. 1000 to your Zu card.

Step 5: After you have added a certain amount to your card, you can place the card on the scanner to enjoy a peaceful ride on BRT.
