After announcing a price hike of Rs. 500,000, the French car franchise in the country dubbed Peugeot Lucky Motor Corporation (PLMC) has resumed booking both variants of its only crossover Peugeot 2008.
As per the company, car is available for booking with a delivery time of March 2023.
It is related to mention that last week KIA Lucky Motors suspended the booking of its all cars and shortly thereafter PLMC closed the booking of Peugeot 2008.
The company’s official notification read:
“Owing to the recent significant volatility of US Dollar against Pakistani Rupee, we have no other option but to temporarily suspend the bookings of all Kia vehicles. We would like to affirm that once the USD parity with PKR stabilizes, we will resume the bookings for all Kia vehicles.”
Peugeot 2008 price Increased by Rs. 500,000
The prevailing price hike series 2023 is in full swing. Following Japanese carmakers, Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, and KIA, the French manufacturers Peugeot took the step and increased the price of its only crossover Peugeot 2008 variants.
New Price
Here are the new prices of both variants.
- The new price of Peugeot 2008 Active variant is Rs. 5,899,000 compared to old price of Rs. 5,400,000. Means, it has observed a hike of Rs. 499,000.
- Meanwhile, the Peugeot 2008 Allure variant will now cost Rs. 6599,000 instead of Rs. 6,100,000. Meaning, it has observed an increase of Rs. 499,000.
