Toyota IMC increases warranty period for its vehicles in Pakistan
As new automakers enter Pakistan, the local market has become fairly competitive, pushing local automobile manufacturers to cater to the consumers’ needs. To compete better, Toyota IMC has extended the warranty on its vehicles from 2 years or 50,000 KM to 3 years or 100,000 KM. This validates Toyota’s claim that it puts customers first; this also improves its after-sales services.
Auto manufacturers across the globe use warranty as a selling point to market their products. Toyota offers up to 10 years of warranty in some parts of the world to distinguish its offerings. Seeing this, Toyota IMC has upped its game in the local automotive market. This must be welcomed as this will eventually benefit consumers who will be offered better deals in terms of warranty, features, after-sales services and specifications
According to the CEO of Indus Motor Company, Ali Asghar Jamali, the extended warranty is catered towards gaining customer trust. He further asserted that Toyota pioneers in manufacturing dependable and stylish automobiles. The Automotive Development Policy 2016-2021 has welcomed a lot of new players who are in the process of launching their vehicles in Pakistan. A number of these vehicles have already gone on sale. As more and more new automobiles hit the market, the competitive atmosphere will compel other auto manufacturers to follow Toyota into offering extended deals on warranty.
