United Cars Price Decreased After Dollar Depreciates
After Toyota, Suzuki, and Honda, United motors also decreased their car prices. The current episode of reducing prices started last week after the dollar rate depreciated and the Rupee resuscitated. Like other automakers, United motors also decided to pass on the benefit to the customers.
The new prices are applicable from today, August 18, 2022.
- United Bravo price is decreased by Rs. 100,000 and will now cost Rs. 1,519,000 instead of Rs. 1,619,000.
- Similarly, United Alphas price observed a reduction of Rs. 117,000 and will now cost 1,769,000 against Rs. 1,886,000.
Price Hike Vs. Dollar Rate
It should be noted that the dollar rate is directly proportional to car prices in Pakistan. The more the dollar rate appreciates, the more car prices will increase. So, the dollar is the only thing that directly affects the local automakers and market.
Weeks ago, the dollar gained profile, auto companies witnessed financial slippages, and finally, the market recorded a massive price hike. And, when the dollar came down, customers noticed that car companies announced a slight decrease in prices – doesn’t fit the proportion to which they were increased.
On the other hand, it is also said that the prices are dropped in accordance to the reduction of the dollar rate. Be that as it may, a considerable price increase didn’t fit the rate at which the dollar swelled.
