VIDEO – Faisalabad Protestors Give Way to Ambulance
We all have seen protests in our country and know how they affect daily lives, especially traffic flow. We have heard or seen reports of people stuck on the roads as protestors blocked the streets. Numerous reports show that even ambulances remained stuck in this blockade which sometimes led to the death of patients in the vehicle.
Meanwhile, we have seen videos where the ambulances were given way in other countries and have wondered why this couldn’t happen in Pakistan. And it has happened here during a protest in Faisalabad. As per a tweet by Ammar Ali Jan – an activist and politician – hundreds of labourers were holding a sit-in for their rights when an ambulance arrived.
The labourers moved out peacefully, giving it the way without any issue. The video shows the moral strength of protestors as they know that ambulances must be given way in all circumstances.
“We will give way to the ambulance with love and respect,” one person said on loudspeaker.

This indeed is a great gesture and we hope that other protestors would follow the suit. Because the life a person is most important.
What is your take on this gesture by the labourers? Please share your thoughts in the comments section.
