The wait is over, as the date of Pakistan Auto Show 2021 has been announced. According to the website of PAPS, the event will be held on November 12-13-14 at Karachi Expo Centre. Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) will host the event. And this is a real great news for petrol heads as they have been waiting for this event.
As per the website, the event aims to provide the “Pakistani Automotive Industry a platform to showcase its capability and potential to the world.” Furthermore, the three-day event will assemble the whole auto Engineering sector under one roof. Government high officials, local and international buyer and manufacturers, raw material providers, machinery manufacturers and many other entities will attend the show.
As per the statement, “based on previous Auto Show estimates, the Pakistan Auto Show 2021 is expected to draw a crowd of more than 100,000 visitors.”
Last Pakistan Auto Show:
The last auto show was held before COVID-19 hit the country. The 3-day mega event was organized from 21st to 23rd February 2020 at International Expo Centre Lahore. PakWheels.com was the digital media partner of the grand event. The exhibition held in Hall 1, Hall 2 and Hall 3, covering 120,000 square feet of exhibition area.
Who Stole the Show?
Undoubtedly, Hyundai Nishat Motors and Sazgar – BAIC stole the show and remained in the limelight throughout the auto show. Apart from both of them, the Japanese auto giants, including Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited (HACPL) and Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC), participated in PAPS 2020. Also, different auto parts manufacturers such as Servis tyres, Panther tyres, international enterprises and local companies, service providers, etc., were part of the event. On that occasion, PAAPAM represented more than 3000 small, medium and large companies at the exhibition and helped them portray their technology.
