When And Where KIA Will Flaunt Its New Luxury Cars

The Korean car giant’s franchise in the country – dubbed – KIA lucky Motor Corporation (KLMC) has disclosed when and where it will display its new cars, Stinger and Niro EV.

A couple of days ago, KLMC shared a video on social media teasing KIA Niro EV and KIA Stinger, captioned, “Are you excited to witness the ultimate Kia experience coming to your city very soon.” And now, the company is all set to unveil these cars in Karachi.

As per the company’s social media post, here are the dates and locations.

January 5 – 9: Kia Motors Macca (Karachi)

January 10 – 13: Kia Motors Clifton (Karachi)

January 14 – 18: Kia Motors Society (Karachi)

January 19 – 23: Kia Motors Lucky One (Karachi)

Highlighting the Niro EV, the car can stand toe to toe with the best from Honda HR-V, Toyota RAV4, and other vehicles of the segment. Whereas, KIA’s second entrant, Stinger, offers the same style and higher-end luxury elements that we observe in luxury vehicles like Audi A5.

Are We Getting Niro EV & Stinger?

So, are we getting these two new cars from Kia Pakistan? The answer is a bit complicated. As per our sources, the company will show these two vehicles across Pakistan at its different dealerships, but they will only be for display for the time being. “The company wants to increase footfall on its dealerships, especially amid these tough times, so the tour of these cars will start soon,” the sources said, adding that the Kia is hoping that people will come to see them.

The company has imported the CBU units of Niro EV and Stinger, but there are no plans for their launch anytime soon. Per our experts, Niro, teased in this video, is a discontinued global model. Stinger will be discontinued globally, with production ending in April or summer of 2023, and there is no next generation. ” We may expect a CBU Stinger as Stinger didn’t sell well globally, and there might be RHD vehicles unsold in inventory, which Lucky can import at a discounted rate and sell locally. The same is the case with Niro, or a CKD Niro has more chance with incentives on electric cars from the government.

Don’t take it badly but please improve your automotive knowledges, Kia Stinger is premium like an Audi A5, and A5 is the direct contender of stinger.
Luxury is a level above, like Mercedes C, E, S , GLE, GLS classes.
It is true Kia made some Luxury cars like the K900 but we won’t get it in Pakistan anytime soon.
Second thing Kia Niro is only available as
    HEV hybrid electric vehicle
and PHEV Plug In hybrid electric vehicle not a full EV.
It will help stop misguiding peoples and giving opportunities to the lootings cars dealers.

I don’t predict a very well future for KiA despite owner of Sorento, satisfied with this vehicle though. Infact there are some major issues wrt Marketing and Maintenance ie it’s considerably EXPENSIVE including spares. I have taken up case with KIA but they are not SERIOUS about highlighted observations and showed CASUAL and CALM attitude.. KLMC need to focus some other known issues before it gets too late. Moreover, launching g globally discontinued cars will not be taken well by Pakistan in presence of Chinese vehicles Haval, MG, Changan and Malaysian Proton. Ezpample of Sonata and Elantra ( discontinued) should be taken s test case. Carnival and Stonic are struggling and Sportage and Sorento also on verge of struggle despite being POPULAR.

Niro is also available as a full EV

I fully agree that the stinger is by no means a luxury car. But in a market where a 10 year old compact car, the corolla, is considered a “luxury sedan” and a “Status symbol”, very average cars like the Stinger or the Sonata or Camry are put in the ultra luxury segment unfortunately.

Even sad little two wheeler runabouts from Honda or Yamaha or Suzuki are now squarely in the “luxury” segment for most.

    It just sad really…

    Masha Allah for you car.
But i believe the problems is somwhere else, in Pakistan to get old model for very long time like the Suzuki Mehran.
And there is a big difference in the way we are making engine with a gap of 20 years.
And some peoples wanted the latest generation of Sorento, it would be more expensive to maintain and repair.
Another big issue for Pakistan is Euro 2 fuel still provided, when we must all run our cars with euro 5 fuel, it will increase not only the mileage, but as well car reliability and durability, because euro 5 fuel is more refined than euro 2.
It would help hugely to tackle down the dirty fog issues as well.

From where you got knowledge of Euro 5 is more refined than Euro 2. After this comment it seems other commentary done here by you does not have basis. It is always better to be silent than commenting on every post

11th generation Corolla was launched in 2014, 2022 has just ended, do the Math or are you illiterate even to do that? And yet ironically you wonder why Pakistan is not pulling up amid people like you, it is a miracle that the country has survived for 70 years.

P.S. The Corolla 11th generation remains better in every right than your used J.D.M. because your J.D.M. is unable to allow you feel, see and even ride a zero meter and freshly assembled vehicle.

Buddy!!! Still bitter as always, I see. 😉

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_(E170)

The 11th gen corolla was launched in June 2013. It was launched in Pakistan in 2014. That still makes it a 2013 model. So now you are going to fight with me over 6 months. 🤦‍♂️🤯🤷‍♂️

Another example; The Alto/Merhan was first launched in 1984. Yet it was launched in Pakistan in 1988. That still makes it a 1984 model regardless of its launch date in Pakistan.

PS. Been there. Done that! J.D.Ms are simply better. Simply check the ever rising prices of JDMs on this very site. And these are not my words alone but the words of so many avid Corolla buyers who shifted to JMDs such as the Axio or Primo just because the ride, quality, safety (which has actually been tested) and tech differences are night and day.

If Pakistan can survive you, it can survive anything. 😎👌
