Women Avoid Accidents Better Than Men – Study
A recent study at Newcastle University in England found that women are less likely to be involved in car accidents as compared to men.
The study was conducted to observe which gender got into more accidents than the other. It also studied the response time of both genders when it came to taking control of an unstable vehicle. The study concluded that men are more likely to practice reckless maneuvers and take more time to stabilize a rogue vehicle as compared to women.
As reported by The Times, the study sample included 43 men and 33 men who all had to use a driving simulator. The study focused not only on the driving skills of both genders but also took into account the time they took to control a vehicle that went out of control.
The research concluded that, at present, women tend to be less likely to be involved in road accidents as compared to men.
