The 2015 Mercedes Benz C-Class is now Official

We have extensively reported about the next generation of Mercedes Benz C class. The C-class  often called the “baby Benz” because it was the smallest and least expensive model the German automaker sold in the U.S. But the new C class is no more a baby and seems really grown up with new design and technology. The new C class is more elegant and luxurious than the previous generation. C class is like a miniature S class.

C class will be equipped with all-new suspensions for improved and better road  response and ride comfort, also available AIRMATIC air suspension with select-able and custom  settings. The new C class will come equipped with many new technological safety features like  Attention Assist, Adaptive Brake Assist, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist, Brake Assist System Plus and Enhanced Active Lane Keeping Assist, as well as Active Park Assist, a 360-degree camera and Traffic Sign Assist with Wrong-Way Alert.

In US market the C300 4Matic will be available with a 2.0-liter turbo 4 cylinder producing 235 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, and the C400 4Matic with a 3.0-liter turbo V6 offering up 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. Both with a new seven-speed automatic transmission.

The new C class will be made public in next month Detroit auto show and will be available for sale fall of 2014.
