It is pertinent to mention that this is Honda’s base variant against top-of-the-line variant of Saga. Furthermore, City is a B-Segment subcompact sedan, while Saga is an A-Segment Mini Compact sedan. Honda’s vehicle is 174.8 inches long, 66.6 inches wide and 58.9 inches high, while Saga is 170.5 inches, 66.5 inches wide and 58.7 inches high.
Engine and Transmission
The City comes with 1199cc engine, which generates 88hp and 110Nm torque, as compared to 1299cc engine of Proton Saga with 95hp and 120Nm torque. It means Saga has bigger engine and more horsepower and torque.
The Honda’s car has CVT transmission as compared to 4-Speed Automatic transmission of Saga.
Exterior
Both cars have DRLs, while City comes with Fog Lamps, which are not offered in Saga. The Rear Camera in city is optional, while offered in Proton’s car as standard. Both cars have 15-inch Rim Sizes, however, the City has Steel and Saga has Alloy ones.
Both have Keyless Entry with Trunk Opener feature in them.
Interior
The sedan by Honda has Electronic Power Steering with Tilt and Telescopic options, while Saga comes with Hydraulic Power one with only Tilt option. Meanwhile, both cars have 7-inch Touchscreens, Driver Seat Height Adjuster, and Multimedia Steering Buttons.
Safety
Both sedans have Dual Airbags, and ABS + EBD as common features. However, Proton Saga comes with additional features of Traction Control, and Hill Start Assist.
Price
The price of Honda City is Rs2,799,000, while the current rate of Proton Saga is Rs2,175,000. It means that the top-of-the-line variant of Saga is Rs624,000 than base variant of Honda City.
