Number Plate Sold for PKR. 29 Crores in Dubai 😨😨
A Dubai number plate, “AA 13,” was sold for a massive 4.4 million Dirhams (1.2 million US dollars) at an auction last weekend. And 4.4 million dirhams are 29-crore in Pakistani rupees, which is just astonishing.
As per media reports, the Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai held an auction at Grand Hyatt Dubai Hotel to sell specific number plates. The “AA 13” registration number plate was the most expensive item sold during this 110th Open Auction for Distinctive Vehicle Number Plates.
The Transport authority earned 37.328 million Dirhams from the auction.
The other number plates also brought huge amounts like “U 70” saw the second highest bid of 3 million Dirhams, while plate number “Z 1000” was sold in 2.21 million Dirhams, and “V 99999” roped 1.26 million Dirhams.

In 2020, plate “V 12” was auctioned for a whopping 7 million Dirhams. These distinctive number plates gain the massive interest of car enthusiasts in UAE, leading to spending a huge amount of money during these auctions.
In 2016, an Indian businessman paid 33 million Dirhams for plate number “D 5”, which is considered to be the most expensive sale on record globally.
