Registering its first hike of 2023, Yamaha has increased bike prices. As usual, there is no reason as bike prices don’t care to provide any. The probable cause could be the recently applied 18% General Sales Tax. The previous GST was 17%.

  • And the third one is the Yamaha YBR 125 (Red/Blue/Black), which has observed a jump of Rs. 3,500, taking the price to Rs. 339,500 against the previous Rs. 336,000.

  • The new price of Yamaha YBR125G (Matt Dark Gray) is Rs. 356,000 against the old rate of Rs. 352,500. So, now you must pay an extra amount of Rs. 3,500.

Yamaha bike prices

Yamaha Pakistan imports import parts like engines, meaning its rate is directly linked to the dollar rate. Last year, the company jacked up the prices seven times.

Whatever it may be, the companies, especially bike companies, must share the reasons for the bike price increases so that the consumer can know why the bikes are so expensive. We were hoping for a stable 2023 for the auto industry, but it seems that the situation will remain somewhat the same. There are still curbs on imports, LCs are not being issued, and the country is reeling through a serious economic crisis. Along with the other industries, the auto industry is also facing the heat of this crisis, directly impacting consumers and their buying power.
