A New Era for Pakistan’s Fuel Market

Aramco, a global leader in energy and chemical production, supplies nearly one-eighth of the world’s oil, underscoring its vast expertise and resources. Leveraging GO’s expansive network of over 1,200 fuel stations, this partnership is strategically positioned to provide high-quality fuel and automotive services across Pakistan.

“This is another milestone in Aramco’s downstream growth story as we launch our first station in Pakistan, a market with considerable potential,” remarked Yasser M. Mufti, Aramco’s Executive VP of Products and Customers.

Khalid Riaz, CEO of GO, expressed similar enthusiasm, emphasizing that the first Aramco-branded station in Lahore demonstrates their shared dedication to enhancing industry standards. “Together with Aramco, we aim to transform Pakistan’s fuel retail landscape by setting new benchmarks for quality, service, and customer satisfaction,” Riaz added.

Rooted in the long-standing diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, this collaboration extends beyond mere business expansion. Saudi Arabia hosts over 2.7 million Pakistani expatriates and is Pakistan’s largest source of remittances.

Aramco’s entry into Pakistan’s fuel sector not only reshapes the energy landscape but also strengthens the bonds between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, underscoring a shared commitment to growth, reliability, and innovation.
