Atlas Honda has exported nearly 12,000 motorcycles, while the group companies also exported additional auto parts of around $ 2 million in the last six months. According to a statement, the breakthrough reflects the acceptability of Pakistan-made auto parts products in the international markets.

“The company is looking at more export markets for motorcycles and parts in the future. New parts and models are under study for their suitability for export,” said Afaq Ahmad, a representative of Atlas Honda. This is indeed good and rather surprising news as it is rare that a group from the local automobile industry is exporting its product.

Atlas Honda is the leading bike manufacturer in Pakistan and has been dominating the local market for years. As per Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA), Honda has sold 165,090 bikes in the last two months, the highest among its competitors. However, the number is lower than last year’s time. And the primary reason could be the continuous price hikes by the company.

New Models by Atlas Honda

Recently, the company launched the latest models of Honda CD 70 and Honda CG 125. In both motorcycles, the major updates were their stickers on petrol tanks and side covers. The sticker in CD 70 has additional green and white colour with a tweak in the design. Meanwhile, CG 125 also got a new sticker with extra blue and green colours. The design of the sticker seems a bit broken compared to the last one, which had a kind of flow.

Despite these minor changes, the Honda bikes are quite famous among the masses, mainly due to their reliability, fuel average, and excellent after-sales. However, we do hope that the company would lower the prices so that more people can afford it.
